Just wanted to share my personal experience with cervical dysplasia and hpv, and hopefully I can help create awareness about the importance of early detection and regular pap smears. I know that this is still a topic not openly discussed because of the stigma of the disease, but I hope from this thread I can reach out to other women out there with symptoms but are scared to get a thorough check-up.
In during one of my routine pap smears when we were trying to get hpv treatment los angeles, my OB-GYN felt a tiny, tiny lentil-sized lump in my cervix. I have been complaining about abnormal bleeding during intercourse for the past 2 years and ALL my pap smears every 6 months for 3 years!
Treatment recommendations included 2 courses of Cervugid Ovules and 2 courses of Isoprinosine Tablets. In total 6 boxes of each, about 9months of therapy.
In most cases the patients are cured or their health improves considerably. This treatment stops the growth of precancerous cells that can cause cervical cancer.
Fast forward this September I was given a clean bill of health by my Obgyn and was considered cervical dysplasia and hpv -free. I intentionally made this thread factual and emotion-free, and will probably start another string to share my thoughts and feelings. I'm looking to join an organization where I can offer support to patients diagnosed with cervical dysplasia and hpv.
